Chocolate Rocks Recipe/ Chocolate Recipe
Chocolate Rocks is as the name says chocolates which looks like rocks. They do not hold shapes but it is one of the easiest thing to prepare. I had learnt preparing these rocks in my chocolate making classes.
I have been preparing chocolates at home since many years and I will be posting it soon. If you do not have chocolate moulds and still want to try it at home, rocks are the best option.
Rocks taste yum and even beginners can prepare it easily. It needs 3 readily available ingredients. You do not need to worry about the shapes of rocks. You can adjust the amount of nuts and chocos as per your taste. Go wild with your imagination while garnishing it. I have used white chocolate and gems to garnish it. You can use cherries, chocos, nuts or any thing else
It can be a personalised gift to someone. Wrap it in a silver or golden foil and a hand made gift will be ready. I have used chocos over here as it gives an extra crunch to the rocks. You can skip it in case it is not available. Add any nuts of your choice but make sure it is roasted. As moisture makes its shelf life shorter.
Keep rocks in air tight container and it stays fresh for a week. It might last longer than that but it disappears within a week when I prepare it.
Here I have used microwave to melt dark and sweet chocolate. If you do not have microwave you can melt it by using double boiler method. Make sure any moisture does not enter chocolate mixture. Moisture makes its shelf life shorter and the outer cover turns white.
