We all know how nutritious Spinach is. And it is equally necessary to add it in kids diet. Again we know how difficult it is to feed them this green veggie. Here is a tasty, crunchy and crispy way which kids will definitely love. I had come across this recipe in a newspaper and thought to give it a try. I was so surprised with its taste and was equally amazed to see my kid relishing it. He kept on asking more and more. Not only kids but elders also love this snack. I ended up preparing a big lot of this Palak Puri on Diwali this year.
This recipe needs minimum ingredients which are easily available in your kitchen.It looks so appealing that you will not have to coax kids to try it out.
This Palak puri is one of the best option for kids. I always keep a batch of puris fried and stored at home. When ever I run out of ideas, ingredients or time for my kids snacks I pack this healthy snack for him.
Nutritional Value of Spinach
Spinach is low on calories and rich source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Its leaves also contain a good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, magnesium, copper and zinc. Being a leafy vegetable it also has good fibre. We all know it is considered to be one of the best source of iron. For weight watchers it is one of the best option.
Here I have added Chilli Ginger paste but if you are preparing it for kids adjust the taste accordingly. This palak puri tastes best when made with minimum ingredients and spices.
