Date Balls Recipe/Khajur Rolls Recipe
My hubby is soooo fond of sweets that he daily starts his day with a sweet before having his breakfast. I somehow do not have a sweet tooth and hardly like sweets and always keep on telling him to reduce his sugar intake. Thats why I was looking for sweets without sugar and one of my friend suggested me Date Balls. Again it met all the criteria of my kind of recipes. Quick, nutritious and tasty. So here is the recipe of Dates Balls which is not only delicious but also a good source of iron and fiber.
This is a sugar free sweet which even diabetic people can enjoy. It is also loaded with dry fruits and desiccated coconut.
If you want to make a vegan version of this dessert just skip ghee and microwave dates for 2-3 minutes in oven. It will make it soft and easy to roll. Make sure to take out dates out of oven after every minute and mix. It will make it soft from all the sides and will prevent burning. You can also add almond milk instead of ghee to make the date mixture softer.

Dates are one of the best super foods of India and especially in Winters dates are highly recommended. There are so many health benefits of Dates like it controls blood sugar, boosts brain health and promotes respiratory and digestive health. It is also said by elder people that dates have certain healing powers.
Coming back to the recipe Date rolls is such an easy recipe that even kids can prepare. It is just assembling of Dates, dry fruits and rolling it in desiccated coconut.
