Fudge Brownie Recipe / Chocolate Fudge
Chocolate fudge is a saviour dessert for me on festive occasions like Diwali. These days are so busy that we hardly get any time to prepare elaborated recipes. Fudge resembles chocolates with nuts but it differs in taste and texture. Generally Fudge is assembling of melted chocolates and condensed milk with few other ingredients. But here I have also added Marie Gold Biscuits and Hide and seek biscuits which makes it semi soft in texture and heavenly delicious.
Kids would go crazy on this dessert and even elders get a welcome change from regular traditional Diwali sweets. Here I have used home made condensed milk. But it is also widely available in stores so you can use that too. It hardly takes 10 minutes to prepare excluding the setting time in refrigerator.
This recipe is so easy even beginners can make it easily and it is also a great option for Diwali gifts. Here I have used only dark chocolate but if you do not like strong taste of chocolates you can use the regular ready made chocolates from market which will give mild chocolate flavor. This is my moms recipe and she has been preparing it since years for Diwali. Over a period of time she has done minor variations also to this recipe. This fudge has brownie like texture and it tastes similar to fudge available at Lonavla.
Here I have used Marie Biscuits and Hide and Seek biscuits but in case if hide and seek is not available, you can replace it with cocoa powder. It is richer than plain chocolate not really a cake or a brownie. It is difficult to explain its taste as it is beyond words. Strongly recommend to experience the taste as it will hardly require any time to prepare this yummy dessert.
