Gulkand Milkshake Recipe | How to make Gulkand Milkshake

Gulkand MilkshakeGulkand Milkshake is considered to be a natural cooler and is widely used in summers. It boosts immunity and is a rich source of protein. As it makes a healthy drink I wanted to prepare it for my kid.

I had been planning to prepare this soothing and cooling drink since long. Finally I prepared it not once but thrice. Last month I got a fresh pack of Gulkand. And I ended up experimenting it thrice. All with different recipes and here is the recipe which tastes the best.

First try- I took only milk and Gulkand and blended it with the hand blender. It did not get that nice pink colour but tasted good. It had good flavour of Gulkand but was little less creamy in texture.

Second try- I wanted nice pink colour so I added Rose syrup to this Gulkand Milkshake Recipe. It was much better than the first attempt but still the creamy thick texture was missing. I tried adding fresh cream but after blending it it gives this milkshake a frothy texture. But adding rose syrup gave it beautiful colour and rich flavour.

Third try- Yay yay yay this was simply perfect. This time I added a scoop of Vanilla Icecream which simply tasted amazing. It had perfect colour, thick and creamy texture, cooling effect of Gulkand and simply yummy. I served with an additional scoop of ice cream.

So just 4 ingredients and this power pack protein milkshake will be ready in minutes. As summers have already begin it is one of the best recipe to keep our body and mind cool.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Gulkand
  • 1 tbsp Rose Syrup
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Ice cream
Instructions
  1. Blend all the ingredients well and pour it in serving glass.
  2. Serve with an extra scoop of Ice cream if you wish.
