Cashew and Peanuts Chikki
Here I have used roasted unsalted peanuts in powder form. If you do not get roasted unsalted peanuts you can just microwave raw peanuts for 2-3 min and let it cool. Once it cools down you can easily remove its skin. So enough of theory now lets move to the recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1Cup Peanuts (Roasted & unsalted )
  • 1Cup Cashew Nuts
  • 1Cup sugar
  • 4tbsp sesame seeds/ til
Instructions
  1. Gather all the ingredients
  2. Grind Peanuts and Cashew nuts seperately in a grinder. You may notice the proportion changes after grinding them. We need to take it in equal proportion so you can adjust accordingly.
  3. Take a pan and add sugar to it. We need to caramalize it. Keep on stirring as you do not want it to stick to the bottom of the pan. As shown in the pic sugar will start melting and soon it will be nice golden caramalized sugar.
  4. Now time to add our all the three ingredients in the pan. You might feel that sugar will not be enough but this is the perfect measurement so do not worry about the proportion.
  5. Mix all the ingredients and take it in a greased plate and spread evenly. You can use a flat bow and tap it on the mixture to make it flat. Now we will cut it in any desired shape till its hot as once it cools down it will be crunchy.
  6. Let it cool. Chikki or Sankraant Papdi is ready to serve and can be stored in an air tight container for 10-15 days.
