Simple Moong Dal Recipe
A dal which needs 10-15 minutes and just 5 ingredients. Believe me it will lift up your whole meal. The best part of this simple recipe is you do not need to cut, chop or make paste of anything for the tadka. So beginners and working moms here is a simple, healthy yet yummy dal recipe for you. I am a big time dal lover and jokingly my hubby tells that I can any day dive in it. I feel my meal incomplete without dal. But cooking dal daily is also a tedious task.
When I was expecting I had prepared a list of must have foods and moong/moong dal was in top of it. We vegetarians do not get required amount of protein from our diet. So we have to make sure we add lentils and sprouts to our dalily food intake.
Yes we all know how important it is to add lentils to out diet but when we have a long list of preparation like sabzi, roti, breakfast, tea, tiffin box followed by office we generally cancel to make an extra preparation.
This simple moong dal recipe is my moms invention. I would feel too lazy to prepare it for tiffin when I was expecting so my mom prepared this yummy lentil. After tasting it I told my mom that I wish I could have it dalily in my office. My mom said you can as it just needs 10-15 minutes to prepare. After that it became daily ritual for me to prepare and carry it to office.
