Simple Roadside Sandwich Recipe / Sandwich Recipe

sandwichSandwich is widely available as a street food all over India. It is quick to make, tasty, portable and can be carried in tiffin or for picnic. It makes a good breakfast option as it is filling and so easy that even kids can make it. Simple Vegetable Sandwich does not need any recipe as such but there are few things that can completely change the taste of this recipe.

First thing is the chutney and second one is Chaat Masala. Earlier I would use a ready made masala while making Sandwiches but since I tasted it with home made chaat masala I felt the real difference that a simple ingredient can make.

It is just a mixture of Salt, Black Pepper, Jeera and Sanchar in equal proportion. But it changes the taste to the core. This chaat masala will uplift any dish, chaat, butter milk or limbu pani. I also sprinkle this masala on french fries or any other fried preparation. You can also add this masala in fruit juices. It goes well on chopped mix fruits as well.

Sandwich is a street food which actually does not need to be cooked. It is simply perfect for busy and lazy days. It is filling nutritious, quick and tasty. A perfect way to feed kids veggies like beetroot and coriander. You can also add little mayonnaise to it and make it moist. I will soon be posting a simple mayoinese sandwich which can be ready in minutes.

Coming back to sandwich recipe here I have taken only four veggies which are cucumber, onion, tomato and potatoes. You can also add Beet Root and Cabbage leaves also.

Al so check other street food and chaat recipes like frankie, Pav bhaji, Bhel and Pani puri.
