Vegan Whole Wheat Chocolate Cake Recipe
I was on cloud nine when I tasted this Vegan Whole Wheat Chocolate Cake. It is simply amazing. And I was more excited as it does not need condensed milk, milk, maida and baking powder. I was not sure about the taste and texture of this cake initially. As I couldnt believe the recipe and it was too good to be true. But thankfully I gave it a try and when I tasted it I started my happy dance. 😉
I wanted to prepare a cake on new year and was in experimental mood. I had already gulped lot of calories and was thinking to go healthy from new year. Like everyone else even I make resolution and loosing weight and eating healthy tops the list every year. So when I came across this recipe I found it worth trying. Besides that this cake is so moist, soft and spongy that its worth the extra calories. Another benefit of this cake is that you do not need to beat cream for icing. Chocolate Ganache goes really well with the texture and taste of this cake.
I have already decided not to bake a maida cake regularly. Once in a while on some occasions its fine. But otherwise I prefer baking whole wheat cakes only.
